The Reconnecting Communities Summit, a national community convening hosted by ReConnect Rondo in partnership with Communities First Fund, McKnight Foundation, Equitable Transportation Fund, America Forward, Hive Fund, Environmental Protection Network (EPN), and Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG), is heading to Washington, D.C., September 29–30, 2025! Let’s reconnect, restore, and reimagine—together.

This national convening brings together community leaders, policymakers, and advocates to advance a restorative movement focused on healing the harms of past infrastructure decisions—particularly in historically harmed communities like Rondo.

The theme for 2025 is “The Power of Us,” which honors the strength of community voice and envisions a future where bold policy and community-led design drive lasting, restorative change.

Through dynamic keynotes, deep-dive workshops, interactive plenaries, and purposeful networking events, attendees will explore strategies for equitable development, cultural preservation, and community-led transformation.
